craziness

A few weeks ago we found out we're having another boy (thanks to the Ball genes)! My nurse said we should get a female dog to balance out the testosterone ... I agree with her! We're excited for him to come, although we still need to figure out a name. Only 18 more weeks to go!

Jared had his comprehensive presentation on Nov. 9th. HE PASSED! We were so glad to have that over with. Now he's able to spend more time with us rather than working on his paper or presentation.

My brother Andrew was able to come up for Thanksgiving. It was nice having him around even though we were all pretty lazy those days. But we did go see the Caldwell Christmas lights so we wouldn't feel too guilty about eating and being lazy.

There's so much going on between now and when the new baby comes (at least it seems like a lot). Here's what's coming up:

- Jared will finish school and have his Master's degree! (2 more weeks!)

- Two Christmases (1 for us, and 1 with Jared's family)

- We're planning on moving sometime in January or February so we can be closer to where Jared will have his job in Boise (ugh...packing, cleaning, and unpacking!)

- Jared will take his licensure exam and switch jobs

- Hoping to get Laken into a toddler bed (and maybe start potty training him)

- Jared's birthday

- Laken's birthday (speaking of which, I'm making a quilt for him and need to have that done)
