updates

Updates:
CARTER
 - 5 months old
 - can turn over from his belly to his back
 - smiles a lot
 - has acid reflux (but the dr didn't give us any medicine for him)
 - had his first real laugh a couple days ago
 - sleeping better at night (even on his back)
 - likes putting everything in his mouth
 - enjoys his exersaucer
 - loves his brother
 - follows his daddy's voice when he gets home from work

LAKEN
 - talking more and more
 - loves to be strong
 - turning into a little boy
 - loves to wear a tie to church
 - enjoys playing with other kids
 - likes to run around the couch
 - jumps a lot
 - becoming a daredevil (but only with adult supervision)
 - loves to wait outside for daddy to come home

JARED
 - took his CADC (certified alcohol and drug counselor) test....and PASSED!
           (To make a long story short of this, the board made a mistake and gave him the advanced test to take, which is what he passed. Unfortunately, he doesn't have enough working hours to get that certification and now has to take the normal test or wait and get the hours needed for the advanced certification, which would take 4 more months.)
 - enjoying his job working at the residential facility as a rehab counselor
 - loves when Carter follows his voice as he walks around
 - enjoys rough-housing with Laken
 - is a great husband (ok, so that's not an update since he's always been one).

VALERIE
 - loves being with her boys
 - trying to finish bumper pads for the baby's crib
 - enjoy sewing and making things for her boys
 - excited for autumn
