Not too much happened in November. Carter became a pro at scooting around and getting into things. He had no teeth so I didn't care too much if he found big things on the floor to chew on. We had to teach Laken to keep his little things picked up so Carter wouldn't find them. He also had to learn that if he didn't want Carter getting certain toys (or his blanket), he had to keep them in his room. Laken found out that if he builds with his blocks, Carter will want to join. Laken would do a pretty good job sharing a few of the blocks to keep Carter happy but soon Carter learned that he could bypass those few blocks and get whatever Laken was building. That, of course, didn't go over well with Laken.
Some other things about Carter:
- he began to pull himself to standing
- he started finger foods
- usually doesn't fall asleep anywhere except his bed (except for once when he fell asleep on the floor while I was putting Laken down for a nap)
- loves to try to follow people around
- got his first two bottom teeth just before the end of the month
Some other things about Laken:
- loves playing with his daddy
- likes to open the door for people
- VERY independent
- enjoys playing games on daddy's ipod and mommy's new kindle fire
