G&G Ball's visit

After having a houseful of guests, Melanie and her family headed back home which left us with a little bit of a quieter house with Gramma and Grandpa Ball. 

Here are a few things we did to stay busy:

Grandpa tried teaching Carter to color in the lines.
Laken asked Gramma to play Hungry Hippos.
Grandpa read books to a tired Carter.
Grandpa helping Jared fix the front steps.

Laken using the scraps from the front step to make his own castle.

Gramma wanted to help Laken with his puzzles.
Grandpa spent some time holding Kaliya at the park while Gramma helped keep an eye on the boys.

Found a nice little spot down by Great Spirit Lake to spend some time, walk in the water, and enjoy nature.

We had fun having Gramma and Grandpa visit for a bit and were sad to see them leave. They were a big help with keeping things picked up and by the end of their visit, I think the boys started warming up to them. Guess that means a longer visit next time!
