NY

After Florida, we went up to NY to stay for just over a week with Grandma and Grandpa. The kids always enjoy going to their house. They have so much to do there between a swingset, dirt to play in, a pool, fire pit, lots of land to run around on, dogs, and were even spoiled with new big wheels.
Laken loves digging in dirt to find bugs. Makai enjoys swinging.

Taking their big wheels out for a spin. Carter really enjoyed his.

The big pool wasn't quite ready for swimming so they pulled out this play pool. The kids got right into it and even got Grandpa in on the fun when they tried doing his hair.

Big pool all ready to go. Carter loves the floating rings and Laken was able to show off things he learned from swimming lessons.

We were able to be there for Uncle Steven's birthday and he wanted to go to a hibachi grill. Not one of Kaliya's favorites. We even warned her this time that there would be fire so she immediately got up and walked a ways off and still ended up crying.

The boys playing with Steven's dog Monty. He is such a playful pup. The boys enjoyed finding sticks to throw for him to chase around.

Toasting marshmallows in the back yard.

More pool time

The kids love having Grandpa in there with them.

Grandpa took each kid out for a ride on his "new toy". Carter helping Grandpa move some dirt.

The kids playing and climbing in the dirt pile. They also helped pick out some of the bigger rocks.

One of Carter's favorite things is to sweep out the garage.
Makai some how got himself in the tub after one of his siblings took a bath.

Carter wasn't feeling too good and ended up sleeping for a few hours between Grandma's bed and the couch.

One of our last days in NY, the kids were able to get Grandma in the pool for a bit even tho it was cold.

Saying goodbye.

It didn't make much sense for Jared to fly back out and drive us home again so mom was the lucky one this time. Grandpa was pretty busy with work and couldn't get the time off so Grandma drove us over two days.

The fun thing about driving with Grandma is the extra stops she takes and extra treats she gets. She sure did spoil our kids this trip with ice cream and little stuffed toys.

Grandma stayed for a couple days to rest before flying back out to NY. The kids were sad to see her go.
