Laken's 2!

I seriously cannot believe that Laken is 2 now!

We celebrated his birthday a day early since Jared didn't have to work. Here's how the day went:

The night before we made cupcakes then I woke up early in the morning to decorate.

We had pancakes for breakfast then got ready for the day.

He was having a fussy morning so we decided we needed to do something to keep him busy and happy, so we did presents.

We got him a pillow pet (but not the name brand), some puzzles, a book, a bath toy, and the quilt that I made him.

Then we went to Kohls to get him some shirts for the summer and then to Dairy Queen for some ice cream.

When we got home he had lunch, then took a nap.

After waking up, he opened presents from my family. He got lots of art things (crayons, paper, magic paper, and magic markers) and super hero things (capes, masks, and action figures).

Then we played and watched Ellen.

Then it was time to eat cupcakes.

Poor Laken freaked out when Jared lit the candle and brought the cupcake to him.

But after Jared blew out the candle, Laken decided the cupcake was ok.
