G*R*O*W*I*N*G
Carter had his 4 month check up today. He's 14 pounds (15th percentile) and 24 inches (5th percentile). The doctor said he was a really strong little boy. He loves eating rice cereal, can sometimes roll over, enjoys sitting up to watch everyone, smiles lots, LOVES to "talk", and doesn't like to be ignored.
Laken is learning more words...and USING them! He's started telling me when he wants a drink (he'll say "more milk/juice"), he asks for applesauce and marshmallows, when Carter cries he says "tas" (his word for sad), he 'reads' books outloud to me, and he has tried repeating nursery rhymes (his current one is 3 blind mice and he only ever says the first 2 lines). Oh, and when he doesn't tell us what he wants and just points and grunts, we'll tell him to 'use his words' which he responds with saying the word "words". We're so proud of Laken for communicating better and we're excited for him to learn and use even more words.
