My parents came out mid-November for Andrew's 25th birthday so we took the opportunity to go visit with them as well. They rented a cabin in Sundance, Utah for a few days so everyone could be together. The cabin was really nice, but not too kid-friendly (at least not for young kids). The floors were all hard, there was a spiral staircase, and a lowered living/family room. So we had to keep an eye on the little boys as they ran around and played to make sure they didn't fall down the two stairs, or slip on the hard floors. And we had to watch them as they attempted to climb up and down the stairs. Anyway, it was a nice cabin and we kept a fire going to keep it warm. It snowed the first night we were there so the boys woke up (early) to snow on the ground and even more snow falling down. So of course during the day we had to let the boys out to play in it and make a snowman. The rest of the time was spent mainly in the cabin or in the hot-tub. We had lots of good food including a small, early Thanksgiving. The boys got to spend time and play with grandma and grandpa (and their uncles when they were around). Kaliya got lots of cuddles by everyone. It was a fun few days all together.
