March 2018

The school has lots of fun dress-up days throughout March. On Dr. Seuss Day I sent in Cindy-Loo Who, Thing 1, and The Grinch!

Makai wanted to join in the fun so he dressed as Thing 2.

Some sledding fun. I love how all the kids are old enough to enjoy the same thing. Makai had a great time going down the hill on his own and he was so cute trying to climb up the hill with his sled.

We had lots of company for a few days as we celebrated Laken's birthday and baptism. Grandma and Grandpa Serfas and Aunt Michelle came out then a few days later Grandma and Grandpa Ball came out.

Pool fun with Grandma and Grandpa

Tinker Tuesday at the library. The kids always enjoy going to participate in their special activity as well as to tinker with all the other fun stuff.

Carter loves Misty.
I made hats for the kids to wear to the St. Patrick's Day parade. It was actually a nice day

It's nice to live near school. It was such a nice day for March that I couldn't resist walking to pick them up. They enjoyed walking home and finding all the melting snow streams.

Laken's first Pinewood Derby as an official cub scout. Of course no Pinewood Derby would be complete without a cut. Unfortunately Jared's was pretty deep and needed stitches. But we got the car complete and Laken painted it on his own. I drew the lines and he painted it. He did not want any help from me at all with painting which was hard for me because i wanted to fix all the lines. He was super proud of his work. His car didn't do well but he had fun and was one of the only boys who listened and stayed in his seat during the races.

Some more fun dress-up days at school....favorite animal day and mustache day. Kaliya made the cutest pig (not her favorite animal but it was her favorite color). I had sticker and tattoo mustaches for the kids to wear and they were a pain to take off later. But the kids thought they also needed big eyebrows along with their mustaches.

Kaliya and Laken decided to do soccer this year. Carter wasn't too sure about it but after the other's first practice he decided he wanted to join as well. Kaliya is too much of a girly girl and wanted to wear a flower headband to her first practice. She was too cute.

Laken's first practice. This was his first year playing with the older kids.

Having fun at the RWC

Waiting in the Preschool section to do the town Easter egg hunt. Kaliya did a good job picking up eggs and toys. Makai wasn't too sure about the whole thing so I had to help him pick some up. Laken and Carter stayed with Jared in their designated sections so I didn't get any pictures of them. But they all had fun and got baskets full of toys and candy.

Dyeing Easter eggs. The kids enjoy rolling their eggs around in the shaving cream to color them.

Poor baby didn't feel well.
