Fun School Days
Crazy day at school. They had crazy hair and both wanted mustaches. Carter wore a hooded shirt backwards and Laken wore two different shoes.

Dr. Seuss day - Carter was Mr Brown (he loves to make noises just like the book character) and Laken was the Grinch (he loves anything green). I loved that these outfits didn't take long to put together and we had everything out and ready to do it.

Dress like a farmer day at school. The boys went all out.
Dr. Seuss's birthday at the library. They read Dr. Seuss books and made a Cat in the Hat headband.

I walked to pick the boys up from school one day and it turned out to be a bad day to pick to walk there . On the way home, it started to storm. The kids were tired of walking, they were grumpy and it was raining. So I had to somehow get three kids in the stroller and run home. By the time we got home, we were soaked.

Shenanigans
Kaliya got a new shirt (and by new I mean from the thrift store!) bu she decided Princess Sofia's lips needed to be purple so she took a marker to it. Thankfully it was a washable marker so it came right off.
One of Laken's tricks is to climb up the door jams. He can get pretty high. But at this particular spot, there are shelves above the kitchen counter so he climbs up to get stuff off the shelves. So much for putting things out of reach.

One day Makai was taking a nap, or supposed to be taking a nap. He slept for a bit then woke up and decided to take off his diaper. Then he ended up peeing and making a mess. He cried and cried. But he hadn't slept long so I was trying to make him cry it out until he went back to sleep. Finally he had cried so much I went to check on him and saw this mess.

Our St. Patrick's day tradition is to have a scavenger hunt to find some candy. The kids always enjoy it.

Makai loves to help put silverware away so Kaliya tried helping him by picking him up so he could reach the drawer.
Nice Weather
Nice weather means we go outside more. The kids LOVE playing in this dirt box in the front of the house. I tried planting flowers one year but the kids would end up pulling them out, so we just leave it as a place to play now.

The kids also really enjoy drawing with sidewalk chalk.
Laken was working on a drawing but Makai kept going over to "add" to it. So Laken decided to draw a picture just for Makai to color over.

More dirt box fun. Laken with his drawing of a leprechaun. And Carter's two drawings of leprechauns.
